1. Who handles your data
Bigfoot Patagonia manages information received through https://bigfootpatagonia.com and its contact channels to handle requests and provide its services. Contact location: Puerto Natales and the Grey Glacier area, Torres del Paine, Chile.
Email reserva@bigfootpatagonia.com to ask about the use of your data or exercise your rights.
2. Information we receive
We receive the information you choose to provide in each form or contact: name, email address, phone number, excursion of interest, number of people and enquiry. The newsletter requests your email address.
Required details are identified in the relevant form. Avoid including identity documents or medical information in a general sales enquiry.
3. Enquiries and requested services
We use information to answer enquiries, provide availability information, prepare quotations and manage requested excursions and bookings.
Handling your request and sending messages needed to manage it are separate from future advertising. Sending an enquiry does not by itself authorise promotional communications.
4. Marketing and withdrawal of consent
If you subscribe to the newsletter or expressly agree to receive marketing from Bigfoot Patagonia, we will use your name, where provided, and email address to send you email information about Bigfoot Patagonia excursions, news and promotions.
Marketing consent is voluntary and relates to this brand and the stated channel. An enquiry or booking does not constitute a subscription or authorise advertising from other brands in the group.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing reserva@bigfootpatagonia.com. We will stop sending promotions without affecting the handling of your enquiry or messages needed for requested services.
5. Online bookings
The booking page integrates the MrPlan booking engine. Details you enter in that engine are processed to manage your booking and are also subject to the information and terms shown by the provider during that process.
An enquiry or booking, including contact by phone or WhatsApp, does not by itself subscribe you to the newsletter. If a platform requests payment details, review its terms before entering them; avoid sending card details in a contact message.
6. Providers and recipients
We use hosting, form storage, email and booking providers, including Supabase, Resend and MrPlan. The website loads Google Tag Manager to manage measurement tags and provides links to WhatsApp.
These services may process data outside Chile under their terms. You can ask about recipients and the processing of your data by emailing reserva@bigfootpatagonia.com.
7. Browsing, cookies and measurement
The website uses Google Tag Manager and keeps visit-source information in browser session storage, which may be associated with enquiries to identify their source, campaign or landing page.
Tools loaded on the website may process device information, identifiers and browsing activity through cookies or similar technologies. You can manage cookies and storage in your browser; blocking them may affect some features and measurement.
8. Retention and care of data
We retain data for as long as needed to handle requests, provide services, meet applicable legal obligations and resolve potential enquiries or claims. Data used for marketing is used while consent remains in place and that purpose remains necessary.
Withdrawal stops promotional messages. A minimal consent or suppression record may need to be retained to evidence your request and prevent further messages. You can ask about retention or request deletion where applicable. Access must be limited to those who need the data for the stated purposes.
9. Your rights and how to exercise them
You can request information about your data and its use, ask for inaccurate details to be corrected, request deletion or blocking where applicable, object to advertising and withdraw consent for future uses. Email reserva@bigfootpatagonia.com and describe your request.
We may ask for the minimum information needed to verify your identity where the nature of the request requires it. You do not need to give a reason to unsubscribe from marketing communications.
10. Changes to this policy
We will publish updates on this page with the revision date. Publishing a new version does not create new marketing consent or by itself expand a previous authorisation.
